An endowment fund ensures that OTD has the financial resources required to plan ahead, in order to be a strong and healthy organization for the next generations.

 

Established in 2019 with a generous legacy gift from the Estate of Mrs. Beryl Montgomery, the Ottawa Therapy Dogs Endowment Fund is managed by the The Ottawa Community Foundation. The Ottawa Community Foundation is a public, non-profit organization created by and for the people of Ottawa. It connects donors who care with causes that matter and serves as a trusted resource for addressing issues and leveraging opportunities in the community. It attracts and manages a growing endowment, the invested earnings of which provide grants to charitable organizations.

“Remarkably, OTD experienced great momentum after receiving a generous legacy gift in 2018 from the Estate of Mrs. Beryl Montgomery.
