Ottawa Therapy Dogs provides invaluable care and support through animal-assisted interventions. We serve people of all ages struggling with physical and mental health challenges. Our teams visit over 60 health care, educational and social services facilities regularly throughout the National Capital Region.

WE ARE OTTAWA THERAPY DOGS

Ottawa Therapy Dogs evaluates therapy dogs and supports their handlers to provide the healing benefits of animal-assisted interventions to those in need. Every day our four-legged and two-legged volunteers play an essential role in helping to improve quality of life in our community.

Humans and animals share a powerful bond. That bond can be a source of comfort, peace and relief for those who suffer from physical or emotional pain.
