After a brief but courageous battle, Bambi Ross's beloved golden Chelsea lost her battle with cancer. Chelsea loved her work at Briargreen Public School where she listened to children read and comforted them when they were sad. Her time spent with autistic and other special need students made a significant difference in their school experience. One of Chelsea's favourite things to do was greet people at the front door of the office. She would lay in front of the door and wag her tail as each person arrived. At Christmas time she would deliver candy canes to all of the students sporting a lovely pair of antlers and her jingle bells.
Chelsea adored children almost as much as she loved jumping off the dock and going for swims. She is greatly missed!
