OTD's Board of DirectorsOttawa Therapy Dogs is a Charitable Organization founded in 2005. OTD is managed by a Board of Directors and Officers who work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and Committees. The Board of Directors, composed of between five and seven directors, represents the corporate membership and is accountable to the membership, clients, staff and funders for the overall administration of Ottawa Therapy Dogs and for the programs and services it provides. Board membership includes a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, a Secretary and a Treasurer, and such other officers as the Board of Directors may determine, who constitute the Executive Committee. OTD's Board of Directors conducts its affairs through consultative processes in a consensus seeking/creating environment. The current members of the Board of Directors are:
