OTD's Wish List

Ottawa Therapy Dogs is always on the look out for people, businesses and organizations who are interested in helping us with our work. Whether you would like to help us out just once or twice a year, or can take on a continuing role, OTD has something for you. OTD also welcomes pro bono and in-kind contributions in the form of goods and services, and is able to provide reciepts for tax purposes for donations valued at more than $100.

Volunteer Needs

• Families with children to help out with our therapy dog evaluations and special R.E.A.D. program evaluations.
• A sewer to sew the "Ottawa Therapy Dogs" badges onto our red scarfs (the dogs’ "uniforms").

Service Needs

• A print shop willing to give us a discount for printing brochures and/or photocopying information for members and prospective members, such as orientation handbooks.

Material Needs

• A laser printer (to reduce our printing costs).
• A projector (for making PowerPoint presentations from a laptop).
• Dog-related door prizes for our AGM and other events.
